this is the jam you can do with the fruit pulp that remains after you have done:
apricot jelly with chilis.
confettura di albicocche con zenzero
Aprikos marmelad med ingefära
weigh the fruit mass
add half the weight in sugar
add 2-3 grated fresh ginger
(it dipends how big they are and how much you like the flavour of ginger)
mix all ingredients, and put the pot on the stove.
let cook the time to get dense as you like.
pour in clean jars, clos tight and let cool upside down.
store in a cool and dark place.
while writing I just finished a knäckebröd with philadelphia and this jam
if you start from new:
500gr of sugar
fresh pressed juice of 3 oranges*
fresh pressed juice of 1 lemon
2-3 grated fresh ginger
do as written before.
* you can also use 250ml of bought orangejuice
